嚴選這些歌曲有幾個原則，首先是必須是大家耳熟能詳的歌曲，其次也不能挑太過於悲情太慢的歌曲，這樣整個場子會冷掉，再來要考量的是不能太難唱，畢竟西洋歌曲跟中文歌多半不一樣。大家去KTV唱歌應該都會有一個共同經驗，有太多的國語歌根本就不需要聽過，有點音感跟底子的人聽一下就可以哼完整首，西洋歌曲就很難了，即使是像AIR SUPPLY這麼芭樂的歌都很難。

基於以上種種考量，挑選了上列100首金曲，希望當天有興趣來現場醫展歌喉的朋友可以先練，唱得差當然不會被判刑或入獄，唱得好當然可以得到更多的喝采，這無關乎實質利益，完全是榮譽感的問題
